STA is an academy within the İLKE Foundation that aims to develop the institutional capacity of civil society organizations and produces training programs, sector research and guidebooks. It seeks to help civil society in Türkiye work in a more institutional, transparent and effective way.
Our activities proceed along three axes: capacity building (governance, fundraising, impact measurement), training (certificate programs and workshops) and research (civil society sector reports and regulatory analyses). We develop practical, application-oriented content tailored to the needs of NGOs.
STA shares the knowledge and training it produces with organizations in the field, public bodies and funders; it publishes regular sector reports, training modules and implementation guides.
